- Mrs. Elizabeth Bartlein, 72, died at 2:45 Sunday morning at her home, route 1, Menasha, after being in poor health for a number of years. She was born May 4, 1863, in the town of Harrison and lived on a farm on the Manitowoc road until 1905 and on a farm now occupied by a son Lester in Calumet county until 1926. Mr. and Mrs. Bartlein retired in 1926, moving to the town of Menasha on Manitowoc road. She was a member of the St. Anne society of St. Mary's parish, Menasha.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. H. J. C. Rosenow, Menasha; two sons, Leon and Lester, route 1, Menasha; two brothers, John Huelsbeck, Appleton, and William Huelsbeck, Cantonment, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Mary Schlegel, St. Elizabeth hospital, Appleton, and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning at St. Mary's Catholic church, Menasha. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. John Hummel will conduct the services. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. The rosary will be said at 8 o'clock tonight and Tuesday night and at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Laemmrich Funeral home, Menasha.
