Worked for the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 23 for 54 years, retiring in 1986.
Member of St. Rita Catholic Church, St. Ritas Knights of Columbus and the Disabled Veterans of Cherry Valley.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Hazel; daughters, Debbie (Allen) Brush of Davis Junction, Teresa Belongia-Garrett of Palatine, Connie (Jim) Moses, Judy Masters and Penny (Chris) White all of Rockford; 12 Grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother, Dale Belongia of Greenbay, WI and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his daughter, Marilyn Sue; son, Jerry; 6 brothers and 3 sisters.
