Adelore Balenger
NAPLES, Fla. '97 Adelore "Shorty" Lewis Balenger, 95, of Naples, Fla., died Sunday, March 14, 1999, in Naples, Fla.
He was born Feb. 21, 1904, in Gladstone, Mich., the son of Isaac and Wilhemina (Hibbard) Balenger.
He married Adelle L. LaBombard on Nov. 12, 1925. She died Dec. 2, 1977.
He spent his childhood in the Gladstone, Mich., area and moved to New Berlin in 1942.
He worked for I.L. Richer Company in New Berlin.
He was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church, New Berlin.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Edwin and Eleanor Bennett of Naples, Fla.; one grandson, Nile and Rosemary Bennett; one granddaughter, Roberta and Robert Bowlby; one great-granddaughter, Kristina Krob; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, March 18, 1999, at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, New Berlin, with Fr. Francis Case, of St. Theresa's Catholic Church, New Berlin, officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, New Berlin.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, March 17, 1999, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Dakin Funeral Home, New Berlin. Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 8 p.m. at the Dakin Funeral Home.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Theresa's Catholic Church, New Berlin.
