- Elverda Blazosky Elverda P. Blazosky of Port Matilda, the sister of a Huntingdon woman, died at Park- west Manor Nursing Home, State College, on Tuesday, Sept. 5,1978, at 4:05 a.m. She was born in Port Matilda on Nov. 11, 1897, the daughter of Jesse and Lucy (Adams) Cowher. In 1920, she married John Blazosky, who died in February, 1964. She is survived by four children, 11 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a brother and two sisters, including Mrs. Edith Laird of Huntingdon. Two half brothers and two half - sisters also survive. She was a member of the Blaek Oak United Methodist Church, Port Matilda,
