- Marie Rupiper was born in the town of Bagley, near Suring, Oconto County, WI. At the age of 10 her family moved to Kaukauna, Outagamie County, WI. There she attended Holy Name Grade School and graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1948.
She married John Kamps in Kaukauna. Following their wedding, the couple moved to West Bend, WI. After raising her family, Marie worked at Royce Fabrics. She earned her real estae license, and was a member of the $1 Million Club of the Wauwatosa Realty Co. After retiring, she and her husband moved to Harrisville, WI. They then moved to Protage, WI in 2000.
Living in Barton, WI at the time of mother's death (1961).
