- Age 76, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, Aug. 10, 2003. She was born in Menasha on July 18, 1927, daughter of the late Leonard and Marcella (Schwartzbauer) Resch. Florence married Hubert "Hub" Porsche on June 24, 1961 and he survives her. She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Neenah. Florence loved to go to the casino and she also liked playing cards.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Kathy (Randy) Gallow, Menasha Paula (Steve) Basler, Larsen Mary Porsche and her fiance, Steve Taylor, Tennessee and a son, Charles Porsche Oshkosh. Florence is also survived by seven grandchildren, Lisa, Todd, Amy, Angela, Kayla, Ashley and Lauren a great-grandson, Rex a brother, John (Pat) Resch, Menasha and a sister, Barb Resch, Menasha and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Resch a sister, Elizabeth Resch and a granddaughter, Megan Basler.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2003, 11 a.m. at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Neenah, with Fr. Richard Allen officiating. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 9 to 11. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Menasha. A memorial has been established.
